I lost David to a fentanyl overdose in 2023 after nearly ten years together. Writing my memoir, Beautiful Ruin: My Life Loving an Addict, helped me navigate unimaginable grief and loss. By sharing my story, I hope to bring awareness to the fentanyl crisis and offer hope to others facing addiction and heartbreak.
